Every day on the way to take the boys to school we make a detour to see the “boats, trains and firetrucks” in downtown Vicksburg. Today docked at the water front across from Catfish Row we saw two boats that they were not expecting to see: the American Queen and Grande Caribe. They talked about those boats all the way to school. :)
EF2 Tornado over ITL – 21 MAR 2012
Around 11:00am CST we had an EF2 tornado pass over ITL in Vicksburg, MS. There were no injuries only minor damage. (click the image below for additional pictures)
Pursuit of Master Degree
I received a notice today that I have been accepted to the graduate school at Auburn University in the Computer Science & Software Engineering program. I am looking forward to the challenge!
Website redesign for March 2012
I am redesigning my personal website, jasonpowers.net, to use WordPress instead of the home-grown PHP code that I’ve written over the years. In doing so, I can focus more on the content than the design! :)
